MATCHA HUMMUS
Just when you thought hummus couldn’t get any better… we added matcha!
Having a delicious homemade hummus in the fridge is such a great option when you need a quick snack on the go. Have it with some crackers or veggie sticks and you’ve got yourself the perfect snack.
You may be thinking, “matcha in hummus, really??” but trust me when I say matcha will take your hummus to the next level. And why not add some extra antioxidants and matcha goodness into your day wherever you can??
This recipe takes me about 10 minutes to make and will keep for about 1 week if kept in an air-tight container.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 400g can of chickpeas
- Juice of 1 medium lemon
- 1 garlic clove – peeled and crushed
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1tsp of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp of tahini
- ¼ cup of water
- ½ tsp of ground cumin
- 1 tsp of sea salt
- ½ tsp of black pepper
- 2 tsps of Unmatchable Original Matcha
METHOD
Blend all ingredients till nice and smooth, add the water gradually as needed to achieve the consistency you desire.
Serve with a sprinkle of paprika on top and ENJOY!
